If something disgusting happens to your keyboard or you just want to de-germ it, here are some steps to clean it.

1. Shut down and unplug your computer.

2. Turn the keyboard upside down to empty out dust and crumbs from between the keys. You can also use a can of compressed air, to get out the bits that won’t budge.

3. Add one or two drops of Neatspiration Lemon Oil to a cotton bud. Make sure it is damp, not wet. Then use it to clean in-between the keys.

4. Dampen a microfiber cloth by spraying Neatspiration Lemon Oil on it. Again, make sure it is damp, not wet. Wipe down the rest of the keyboard with the cloth.

It is possible to take the keys off of some keyboards for a more thorough cleaning, but not usually necessary, since it is most important to clean the parts you touch the most.

And the best part? Neatspiration Lemon Oil doesn’t leave any residue so it does not need to be rinsed. It is a great cleaning agent because it has both antifungal and antibacterial properties. It is also antiviral, an antiseptic and a disinfectant. It is also an odour neutralizer meaning it does not mask odours, but eliminates them, by killing the germs that create them!
