As it turns out, Shower Glass needs TLC. It hates harsh chemicals.

I myself, was a self proclaimed chemical lover, and had a hard time accepting this at first. But my friend google has converted me from a bona fide chemical girl, to a hippy!!!…well for shower glass anyway…lol.

In its normal state, glass it is not porous. However, when exposed to harsh chemicals over time, a glass surface will eventually become porous.

So how do you know if your shower glass has been affected??

If you have thoroughly cleaned your shower glass, and you can still see a ‘fog’ or ‘streaks’, or it just looks a little speckly, almost inside the glass when the glass is dry, is not necessarily scum. If your glass ‘squeaks’ when you run your fingers over the clean glass – the offending streaks are something more hideous…it is most probably glass cancer/corrosion. This is glass corrosion and is caused by Harsh Chemicals, and leaving those chemicals on the glass for too long, or, using harsh chemicals over a long period of time.

So what can I do to fix Glass Cancer/Corrosion??

Unfortunately…Nothing can fix this, other that replacing your glass…

But, you CAN slow Glass Cancer/Corrosion down and prevent it!!!

My absolute favorite Lemon Oil use, is for cleaning the shower. I have tried so many things, and have never had a better result – on tiles or glass before – AND it keeps your shower cleaner for longer as the water beads off it – resulting in you having to do much less work!! Yay!!

Lemon Oil looks after your surfaces. It will NOT cause glass cancer/corrosion.

Neatspiration Lemon Oil doesn’t leave any residue so it does not need to be rinsed. It is a great cleaning agent because it has both antifungal and antibacterial properties. It is also antiviral, an antiseptic and a disinfectant. It is also an odour neutralizer meaning it does not mask odours, but eliminates them, by killing the germs that create them

So to start loving your Shower Glass take these steps…

STEP 1 – Dilute Neatspiration Lemon Oil into an Aluminium spray bottle – Essential Oils eat through plastic bottles, and spray all over the glass. Leave for 10 min or so, and then respray.

STEP 2 – Then scrub with a damp Neatspiration Glass Microfiber Cloth for dirty showers, or for touch ups, you can spray and clean with a dry microfiber cloth.

STEP 3 – Immediately re spray, and buff with a dry microfiber cloth.

This will leave your Shower Glass, fog free, streak free, and shiny as. So be kind to your Shower Glass:) because this time… those hippies are actually onto something;)…

Have FUN!!!
